Information letter about the current delivery situation concerning PVmaster large-scale inverters
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The difficult delivery situation concerning PVmaster central inverters and generator terminal boxes has been caused by a drastic shortage of semiconductors and electronic components on the world market which, in addition to the inverter industry, is also affecting a large number of other branches of industry.
Against the background of the on-going supply crisis, all PVmaster types have a longer delivery time. It is unfortunately possible that already confirmed delivery dates may have to be deferred. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused – the extent of the crisis was not foreseeable. LTi is currently unable to maintain its ability to supply solely by the foresighted, strategic purchase of components alone.
Forecast 2011
According to the semiconductor industry, an early end to the situation is not in sight. In order to give you planning security for 2011, we recommend that you determine your requirements for PVmaster inverters and generator terminal boxes early and inform us in a forecast nearer the time. Strategic purchasing will help us reduce the delivery times from January 2011 and give you planning security.
